I am a Vancouver based Textile & Surface Designer who creates patterns and illustrations for clients in the fashion, sportswear, and housewares industries. My patterns are intricately illustrated with various mediums, such as, inked hand drawings, watercolour paintings, photography, and digital manipulations. I love finding inspiration traveling the world visiting textile markets, book stores, craft fairs and exploring all of natures intricacies.

I studied Design at Emily Carr University of Art + Design in Vancouver, as well as a year abroad at the University of Sydney in Australia. After I graduated I went on to work as an Apparel Graphic Designer for Westbeach (Snowboarding Outerwear) and Aritzia. While working in-house for these two companies, I learnt all about developing repeating artwork for fashion, trend and colour forecasting, strike-off approvals, and working with manufacturers from the beginning of the design process through to product hitting the sales floor.

For the past 8 years, I have worked with a variety of local and international clients decorating surfaces. I have spent time in India working with master block printers in Jaipur, learning the craft and am in the process of developing my own collection of block printed patterns and goods.

Another passion project finds me collaborating with ACE Camps as a Trip Designer overseeing and developing programs for their Global creative workshops. From Batik printing in Swaziland, to Tile Design in Portugal - we have some great adventures planned. Come with us!
